Tough Times Don’t Last – Sanctuary
Tough times are a reality, but they don’t have to dominate your existence, and last indefinitely. Under-standing how to properly equip yourself with God’s Word and powerful principles, you’ll be able to stand firm in the face of life’s challenges.
First Things First – Room 101
New to church or would like a foundation refresher First Things First has something for you. Teachings on founda-tions of the Christian faith. A must for all believers.
Under Cover – Room 113
This teaching will help you gain an under-standing of God’s divine authority. Through impacting teaching, you will discover how true biblical submission differs from obedience, the distinc-tion between direct and delegated authority, how to overcome unfair treatment, and the reason for God-established authority.
The Following Classes are for Children:
Nursery – Room 107/108
Because infants and toddlers are constantly absorbing bits of information, Yorktown Nursery uses the best method of teaching for these little minds: repetition. Every month, kids discover a foundational Bible story that reinforces a timeless truth from God’s Word. Then that truth is repeated again and again through songs, guided play times, and activities perfect for their level of development.
Preschool (Pre-K & K) Room 109
Stories about Joseph will encourage kids to love their families and help and forgive others. Kids will discover how God protects and cares for them just like He did Moses. Kids will want to follow David’s example of willingness, bravery, friendship, and care.
Primary (1st & 2nd Grade) Room 114
Kids will discover that God not only created everything, but that He also loved Adam and Eve even after they sinned. After learning about faithfulness through stories about Noah’s ark, kids will find out about Babel, the first city built after the Flood. Through Abraham, Lot, and Isaac, kids will explore faith, the dan-ger of selfishness, and God’s provision.
Middler (3rd & 4th Grade) Room 111
Kids will learn about God through the Trinity, Creation, and the Ten Commandments. Lot, Jacob, Moses, and the Israelites show kids that God is always with them. Kids’ faith will be increased through stories of how God has power over a rock, the law of gravity, an army, and an idol.
Pre-Teen (5th & 6th Grade) Room 110
Pre-teens will dive deeper in the Word of God as they learn practical ministry tools such as puppets, human video and more in this exciting discipleship and ministry training course to prepare them for their teen years ahead.
