Sunday, Feb. 26^th: Chuck E. Cheese Trip – Total cost of the trip is $8/child, which includes pizza, drink & 16 tokens. Open to kids in grades 1^st -6^th. SIGN UP by February 19^th.

Sunday, March 11^th: Wii Game Day – After church until 3pm. For grades 5^th & 6^th. Cost is $4 per child for lunch.

“So You Know”

• We will be having a March Missions Madness event starting Feb. 26^th. Help us reach our 1^st quarter goal of $1,500 by April 1^st!! It just takes $1 to save a soul so…“Just Fill It Like Never Before!”
• Starting Feb. 19^th the kids will start a new theme called, “TRANSFORMED” – which will introduce them to Bible characters who were face-to-face with Jesus.
• Please be watching the mail as you will be receiving important information regarding Kids Ministries. Please, also make us aware of any extracurricular activities that your children will be participating in. We’d love to show our support!

Men’s Conference

January 27^th – 28^th

Men, get ready to be the Courageous High Priest of your home. Plan on coming to a special time just for men. This conference will be Friday, January 27^th @ 7pm and Saturday, January 28^th @ 8am. Also, on Saturday night at 6pm will be a Potluck & Movie Night for the entire church family. We will be showing the film, Courageous. The cost for the men is $10, which includes a full hot breakfast on Saturday.

You must register and pay IN THE INFORMATION CENTER by Sunday, January 22^nd.

FASTING, PRAYER AND SEEKING GOD

Starting January 1, 2012 and continuing through January 21, 2012, our church will be entering a season of prayer and fasting aptly entitled, “21 Days of Hunger.”  We are participating with several churches in the Hudson Valley Section of the NY District of the Assemblies of God. I sincerely hope you will join us for these three sacred weeks as we seek God for a greater outpouring of His Spirit, a deeper revelation of His Word, and a renewal of our hunger for God in church and in our lives!

The fast we suggest will consist of only one meal of vegetables per day in addition to intake of liquids.  Meals that are eliminated should be substituted with prayer and study of God’s Word.

The church will be open every day from 6am to 9pm for you to come and spend time in the sanctuary.  Please use the parking lot entrance as that is the only entrance that can be unlocked during the day due to preschool regulations.  Of course, we will continue to meet on Tuesday nights for our Corporate Prayer Meeting; but we are also asking everyone to join us for additional prayer meetings on the Wednesday nights during this fast, January 4^th, 11^th and 18^th from 7pm to 8:15pm – instead of the Adult Bible Study.  As well, a final prayer meeting will be held on the last day of the fast, Saturday, January 21^st  from 6pm to 8pm.

We should all come expectant of an outpouring of His Spirit in our lives.  Churches from across the Hudson Valley are participating in the “21 Days of Hunger” prayer and fasting campaign.

Please give this request prayerful consideration and mark your calendar.  I believe the time has come for us to unite together in a serious expression of spiritual hunger for the presence of God!
